An OPIRG Working Group going by PEAS (Promoting Eating Alternatively & Sustainably) had a busy year, and ended it by putting in a winning proposal for OPIRG’s Public Interest Grant (on top of winning an Annual Peggy McKay Award) in 2009. This idea was picked up by the MSU and ended up being altered from it’s original design, to what later became known as Farmstand, a great addition to the campus food life!
